We build and operate a portfolio of content websites. Each site covers a defined subject area and publishes articles written for a general audience. The four areas we work in are lifestyle, entertainment, apps and software, and how-to guides.

The work is the ordinary work of a publisher: planning what to cover, writing and editing articles, publishing them, and keeping the sites and their archives in good order.

Our content is published in more than 30 languages, so that readers outside English-speaking countries can find our articles in their own language. Language editions are the main reason the audience is spread across many countries rather than concentrated in one.

All of the company's revenue is advertising revenue. We do not sell products or services to the public, and readers are never charged to read our sites.

Advertising on our websites is served through two Google products:

• Google AdSense — advertising placed automatically on our pages.
• Google Ad Manager — the platform we use to manage the advertising inventory on our sites.

Advertisers buy the placements through Google. Google counts the advertising served on our pages, takes its share, and pays the balance to us on its standard monthly publisher cycle.

In practice this means the company's incoming funds arrive as a small number of monthly payments from Google, rather than from many individual customers.

Audience is built the same way any publisher builds it, through three channels:

• Search engines. Most readers arrive from a search. We work on the things that make articles findable: choosing subjects people are actually searching for, writing them properly, and keeping the sites fast and well structured.
• Social media. We run accounts for our sites and share articles from them.
• Newsletters. Readers who have subscribed to a site receive new articles by email.

3M Technologies LLC was founded in 2026 by Otto Brendon Schoenau. He owns the company outright and directs it: he sets what the company publishes, holds the relationships with our advertising partners, and is responsible for its finances.

There are no other members or shareholders.
